Day 1 You will meet our tour guide at Entebbe airport,greet each other and then transfer to your hotel for relaxation.
; An early morning pick up by our guide to start your journey to Bwindi national park. On your way there, you will have a stop over at the Equator for photos and Mpambire drum Village to see the traditional way of making drums and also a chance to get yourself a locally made drum. Proceed with a stop over at Mbarara for lunch, a chance to view the long horned Ankole cattle. After lunch proceed to Bwindi and arrive late evening check into Gorilla resort / Buhoma Lodge / community Bandas for dinner and an overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest
You will have a briefing by the local guide after breakfast before starting this adventure. Set off into the forest to look for these interesting apes, the time taken and the terrain vary according to the movement of the gorillas. If possible you may have a community walk around the areas surrounding the park.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Rwanda
Past breakfast, you will set off for Rwanda and transfer to Kinigi – Ruhengeri, home of the endangered mountain gorillas.
Drive past stunning scenery of lush green hills and valleys to the base of Sabinyo Mountain one of the Virunga Volcanoes.
Dinner and overnight at Volcanoes Virunga Lodge/Mountain gorilla view lodge / Kinigi guest house.
Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Past breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before going for gorilla trekking, upon encountering the apes, you will have 1 hour with them. Tracking the great apes through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virungas is a thrilling experience. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you can choose to explore the area, perhaps visiting nearby lakes and villages or go for a walk on your own in the farmland around the hotel or just relax and enjoy the scenery.
Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mountain View Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House
Day 5: Depart for Kampala
Have a leisurely breakfast amidst the cool climate and then set off for the journey to Kampala with lunch enroute, arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight or transfer to the Airport for your flight home.
