Akagera National Park located in eastern Rwanda, hugging the border with Tanzania. It’s characterized by woodland, swamps, low mountains and savannah. The varied terrain shelters wildlife including zebras, giraffes, elephants, lions, rhinos, and hundreds of bird species, such as the rare shoebill stork. In the southern part of the park, vast lake Ihema is home to hippos and crocodiles.
Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park
After breakfast around 9h:00 Am, our English /French speaking tour guide will meet you at your hotel or elsewhere in Kigali, short briefing and drive to eastern part of Rwanda, to Akagera National Park.
Arriving in the Akagera National Park (2.5 hours away from Kigali), transfer to headquarter for registration, and then proceed on a full game viewing drive from south to north in this African savannah Park. Lunch as picnic, drive back to the south for Dinner and overnight

Day 2: Full day game drive and Drive back to Kigali
After morning breakfast, short game drive to Ihema & Birengero lakes for last touch of the nature, photos and boat ride. Later, drive back to Kigali.
