Day 1: Akagera National Park Game Drive And Boat Cruise.

Depart from Kigali at 5am to the eastern part of Rwanda with parked breakfast. A journey of about two and a half hours will take you to Savanna Park.

• Three discrete environments describe Akagera National Park with Standard savannah dominating much of the region. An enormous swampy area along the border with Tanzania engulfs six lakes with numerous islands, some of which are forested.
• Low mountains on the flanks of the park with variable vegetation, ranging from short grasses on the summits to wooded savannah and dense thickets of forest form the third environmental component of this National Park.
