3 Days Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 1: Departure/Transfer to Bwindi national park.

Your arrival at the airport will be an honor as you will meet a Silverbird tours representative that will happily receive you.

• You’ll leave the airport and head to Kigali for a meal depending on your arrival time and embark on a journey to Uganda 154km from Kigali international Airport.
• Proceed Northward crossing to Uganda through the Cyanika border. Continue with your journey as you are in Kisoro district in Uganda. look out for some picturesque scenery formed of a string of hills neatly cultivated by the natives of this region.
• The community at this time begins to become active as groups laying bricks, mining stones, shoveling sand begin dotting the roadsides as the day begins as you drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight. (Mutanda lake resort H.B)
• It’s possible to upgrade to luxury cottage at an additional cost

Day 2: Gorilla trekking Experience.

Wake up very early and have your breakfast before heading to the park offices for a briefing at 8:00AM with packed lunch.

• After this, you will join a group of trekkers to make a group of 8 and you will hereby be accompanied by ranger guides in the forest to search for the Mountain Gorillas.
• You will trek through the forest, slashing at the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track gorillas. The time taken to track the Gorillas is unpredictable since it depends on their movements in search for food and shelter.
• However, it can take three quarters of the day and 90% chances of viewing them. Upon reaching the Gorillas, you will have one hour with them and this will enable you to sit down and watch them as they interact with each other, communicate and you are also free to take photographs and Videos.
• You’ll have a chance to interact with the community before returning to your accommodation for lunch.
• Rest upon having lunch and return to the shores of the lake later in the afternoon for a canoeing experience on Lake Mutanda.
• Enjoy the tranquility of this lake as you paddle your boats on this beautiful lake. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Airport transfer

Depart from your accommodation and head for Kigali arriving in time for your flight. You’ll have an en-route meal in Kigali. Proceed to the airport arriving in time for your flight.
